Problems You May Encounter from a Single Missing Tooth

Missing Tooth Ortegon Prosthodontics TX 77401Having a single missing tooth in your mouth can actually do a lot more in your mouth than what you realize.

The single tooth in the mouth can be replaced with something else when it comes to filling in the gap and you should consider the many options you have. Missing a tooth is not the end of the world, but you also might want to have a full smile, too!

Problems of Missing a Single Tooth

These missing teeth, especially if they're missing in between two teeth can not only make the teeth around it shift which can be something that you have to think about.

Not only do you want your teeth to stay in the same areas that they are supposed to be in, but you want to make sure that when the other teeth move, they're not going to be crooked.

Another problem is that when you're missing a tooth and you can see the missing area when you smile, this is not going to give you much confidence.

You want to be able to have a full on smile without having to worry about your missing teeth shown when you do so. This is why so many people opt to have these areas of missing teeth filled in.

The dentist can speak with you regarding the missing teeth that you have. It is important to consider filing in the areas that are missing to ensure that not only do you keep the other teeth in place, but also so you have the confidence to smile.

If you're missing a single tooth and you want to know the options out there for filling in the area, speak with us here. We can provide you with more information on what you can do to help the missing gap and also give you answers to any questions you might have. Let our dental professionals help you make the right decision when it comes to filling in the gap.
